About The Festival

Bangui Fait Son Cinema (BFSC) is the International Festival of African and Afro-descendant Films where various filmmakers meet in a friendly atmosphere to present the best current productions, with competitions in several categories. Founded by the Central African Association for Audiovisual Promotion and Development (ACPAD), the International Festival of African and Afro-descendant Films, Bangui Fait Son Cinéma, is a platform for the promotion of African and Afro-descendant cinema.

Join us December 12–19, 2026, in Bangui for the 7th edition of the Festival, themed “Cinema and Public Policy: Imagining the CAR of Tomorrow.”

The Call for Films is Officially Closed

The Bangui Makes Its Cinema International Film Festival warmly thanks all the directors, producers, and project leaders who responded to the call for submissions for its 7th edition. The call for submissions is now closed, giving way to a crucial stage: the selection process.

Our committee is currently viewing and reviewing the submitted works to create an Official Selection that reflects the festival's ambition. Join us from September 15, 2026, for the announcement of the films selected for the Official Selection.
